Photographer's Note

Buttertubs is a marsh set aside for migrating birds who pass over this water.
at 9 pm, I set the camera to "bulb" and manual mode, focus to infinity, then let the shutter stay open several minutes.
The red light is probably from the street lamps and dust over the city.
while I was taking this photograph, I could hear the loud SLAP of a beaver's tail in the water. (at least I hope it was a beaver and not a Sasquatch).
