Photographer's Note

the setting sun produced this blue sky reflected in the water. I used a tripod and long shutter opening to blur the reflections.
The piles deviate from their rhythm as the middle member is not upright any more.
In composition, an odd number of subjects is more pleasing to the eye for some reason, which is one of the reasons I included 7 in this frame.
These uprights are old logs driven into the sea bottom and once served to anchor a pier for pleasure craft and fishermen's boats on Vancouver Island.
