Photographer's Note

From the summit of Whistler Mountain you can look down upon a little blue lake nearby, and down further to the town of Whistler, situated between the deep blue Alta Lake and the light blue Green Lake. The snowy summits of the Coast Mountains form the skyline. It's easy to get here - take a gondola most of the way up, then a chairlift to the summit.

Scanned from a slide. Polariser used. I used a graduated neutral density filter to darken the top half of the photo so as not to burn out the snow. I didn't really need it though, because the top half of the photo turned out too dark, so I used Photoshop to lighten it up.
