Photographer's Note

This was taken at the Butchart Gardens near Victoria. I'm not one for gardens usually, but I have to admit that this place was impressive.

The massive and very well manicured gardens are currently celebrating their 100th anniversary. Back at the turn of the 20th century this old limestone quarry was turned into 55 acres of meandering paths and expansive lawns.

This particular photo was taken in the Japanese Garden. Also on site are the Sunken Garden, the Italian Garden, and the Rose Garden.

Post-pro: curves, and sharpening.

As for the title, I thought the path kinda forms a question mark. I also like how it begins in light and disappears in shadow.
