Photographer's Note

As our Harbour Hopper was passing by Salty’s, I could not help but take snap a shot of the people enjoying the afternoon on its deck.

According to Open Table, Salty's is an elegant restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere that serves fresh seafood delivered daily. Groupon adds that the whole family can enjoy a meal at this restaurant with its kid-friendly fare. Outdoor seating is available when the weather is warm, as we can see in the photo. Upstairs is available for a more formal dining experience, Salty’s website notes.

The photo in the workshop is a zoom-in on the people enjoying their afternoon.

Merhaba Murat

On the other side of Canada I went to Barbara's in the city of Victoria on Vancouver Island. Their clam chowder and fresh crumbed fish was excellent. Good sharpness and a nice sheen on the water. Tfs!

Hello Murat,
Even from this distance it is evident that Salty's is a very popular place. The architecture seems somewhat at odds with its more lofty neighbours. I like the way the sunlight plays across the waters of the harbour.

The immediate surroundings don't look so inviting, but the restaurant seems nice and the crowd sitting outside create a fine atmosphere. Obviously it's a popular place. I like the reflections in the water.

A beautiful atmospheric photo from Halifax. I recognize the atmosphere of this region a little of our visit to Saint John a few years ago. Unfortunately we then had to turn left to Quebec and had no time to visit Nova Scotia.
