Photographer's Note
The ramp where we went into the water on Harbour Hopper 5 was between Casino Nova Scotia and HMC Dockyard Halifax. Our tour first headed northwest to get a view of the fleet docked at Halifax. This main entry and the workshop photo are two views from the naval base.
Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Halifax is Canada's east coast naval base and home port to the Royal Canadian Navy Atlantic fleet, known as Canadian Fleet Atlantic (CANFLTLANT), that forms part of the formation Maritime Forces Atlantic (MARLANT). It is the largest Canadian Forces Base in terms of the number of posted personnel and is formed from an amalgamation of military properties situated around the strategic Halifax Harbour in Nova Scotia. HMC Dockyard Halifax was acquired by the Canadian government from the Royal Navy following the withdrawal of British military forces from Canada in 1906. Prior to 1906, it was known as Royal Naval Dockyard, Halifax and is one of the oldest defence establishments in Canada, having been established by the Royal Navy during the 18th century as HM Dockyard. The dockyard was formally taken over from the British government by Canada in 1910, with no changes to the layout. (From Wikipedia)
Tersane, yerleşim düzeninde hiçbir değişiklik yapılmadan 1910'da Kanada tarafından İngiliz hükümetinden resmen devralındı. hello Murat, Nice ship and colourful Canadian flag contrasts well with the grey surroundings but the most interesting is this very long bridge. Excellent composition.

Hello Murat
The red & white Canadian flag stands out well at left and contrasts nicely with the blue sky and water. The bg suspension bridge provides a strong focal point. Good sharpness and framing. Tfs!

Hello Murat,
I like the framing and the inclusion of the Canadian flag that adds a splash of contrasting colour to relieve the predominant blues and greys. The warship is well placed in the frame and makes an interesting focal point. Good technical quality.
