Photographer's Note

I have posted a few pictures of Diyarbakir during the past weeks. After visiting the important historical places I usually enjoy to see what's up in the bazaar and market places when I visit a city. This is a scene of a daily routine about the shop of an old carpenter, who was being helped by his young apprentice. I liked the scene and after a while they were not even caring about me, work seemed more important, and there was a constant "va et viens" with the young lad who was bringing more raw wood to the master handling the big saw.. There was no light except the bulb, and I used a tripod although I had ovverrated to 800 ISO
