Photographer's Note

This is a second shot from the elevated entrance into the Miniatürk. The closest model is that of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). Beyond that is the Anıt-Kabir, the mausoleum of Atatürk. Both of these structures are from Ankara. The mosque with the four minarets is Selimiye Mosque from Edirne. To the left of Selimiye, next to the pond is the Mausoleum of Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi from Konya. Close to the right edge of the frame, behind the fellow in dark blue shirt taking a photo of Anıt-Kabir, we can spot the Clock Tower of Izmir. Doesn’t the fellow mowing the grass in front of TBMM look like he is blindfolded?

Dört minareli cami, Edirne'den Selimiye Camii'dir. Selimiye'nin solunda göletin yanında, Konya'dan Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi Türbesi bulunuyor. Çerçevenin sağ kenarına yakın, koyu mavi tişörtlü Anıt-Kabir'in fotoğrafını çeken kişinin arkasında, İzmir Saat Kulesi'ni görebiliyoruz. TBMM'nin önündeki çimleri biçen, gözü kapalı gibi görünmüyor mu?
