Photographer's Note
As we cycled up yet another hill in Eastern Turkey, we joked that it was doing my girlfriend good as she "looked a mere shadow of her former self".

I like the "up-hill" composition. It's a really nice subject for a showdow - lots of shapes which can be identified by their outlines. For some reason it reminds me of cave paintings - this could be a modern version. Top shot!

Well done - the slope is clearly visible and the clear reason why she is standing still. Add to this the warm sun and the heavy packaging and the lonely suffering is manifest.

Nice shot. Just to add smth. Could it be beter if the shadow was not centered, Maybe you could crop it so the shadow is on the right and has more way to go in the front.

Have just seen this. Very good. I like bike photos and this is a neat twist on the theme. The rock colours were probably as pale as you represent them here; I would have been tempted to make them a little more intense and the shadow a little darker.
