Photographer's Note

Birdfeeder are part of our life -mainly in major cities of Turkey- like this one here.
This elder woman was sitting on a quite busy square of İzmir and offering a cupfull of corn to the passangers, mainly to the children.
It depends on your how many you pay for this service.
But it's amazing to see the pigeons flying in to the spot where you've poured the corn or wheat.

I'd posted similar captures also in the past.
Here some of them.

There is also a wonderfull book about this tradition with the title : "The Birdfeeder of Istanbul" of John Ewing which I can recommend very much.
