Photographer's Note

A reconstruct ancient Olive-Press workshop, in the excavations of old town Katzerin in the Golan-Heights (pronounces Ka-tze-rin), location on the map at: 32.988, 35.705 .
In the foreground is the initial press where the raw-olives are put and being crushed. Than, the material is further pressed by the big screw apparatus (on far right)from the baskets, while the olive-oil pouring to a basin and collected in buckets. Further, the basket “tilted” on the wooden crane on far left, as a final stage to have the raw material ready to be used as heating substance, or even as soap, and other uses.
