Ashuradeh is a village in the center of the Midlands Peninsula in Bandar Tharkman County, Golestan Province. Ashuradeh is the only Iranian island in the Caspian Sea. The island has been separated from its main land mass (Midcale Peninsula) in the past centuries following the operation and operation of human groups by digging canals. Ashurade was introduced in 1975 as one of the first biosphere zones in the world. Meanwhile, the Ramsar World Convention is among the world's most important wetlands, and the third most important area is its membership of a wildlife refuge that hosts a variety of birds throughout the year.
40% of Iranian caviar is found near the island.
The island has been home to more than a thousand people in the past, with facilities such as the Gendarmerie Station, Rural Cooperative, Middle School, Shop, Mosque, which have been occupied by livestock, labor, craft and fishing, but in 1993 due to rising water levels. The Caspian Sea and the floods of the islanders left the island. And now only the fishery staff resides there.
