Photographer's Note

Earlier this year (May) i went for an early morning surf trip to the other side of the island, infact pretty much as far away as i can get from my town before i end up in the sea!
A calm mellow morning greeted me as i got out of the car to check the surf.
My first stop was here at Freshwater bay, the surf was pretty small but field on the cliff top was stunning! It was full of pink thrift and to top it off the sun had just risen and was lighting the flowers in such a perfect way, i had to take a few shots before i went to check my next surf spot!

I know this a long long way from my usual style but i thought it would make a change!

I used no filters and i took it without a tripod.
