A modern light which appears on the Quayside at Newcastle upon Tyne,not sure if i could ehance this picture any more than i already have,comments would be appreciated.

Nice shot Nick, It's a pity the highlights blew as the rest of the glass is great but I assume the light was right there.
I like the close crop and nice sky colour and 4 out of 5 panels ain't bad.

I don't know why this nice picture is so badly rated because I like it a lot. I like the colours effects on the windows. However, I agree that this picture would be better if the lighthouse had not been cropped and with 1 or 2 stops lower to decrease the white's washout.
If you are a neighbour from this nice lighthouse, try again with other expositions and show us the best you get ..

Nice colors and good framing. The only way you can bring more details in the highlights with this kind of subject, is either shot raw and process two differents expositions, or take the picture with the camera on a tripod, using one exposure for the highlights and one for the overall scene, and then combining the two in Photoshop.
