Photographer's Note
After an amazing day of storm chasing, my final destination was this cliff top at Freshwater Bay.
The lightning had almost died out, but i still sat and waited just incase i managed to capture a bolt, and my patience paid off because i managed to capture an amazing bolt!
I used an ND4 Graduated filter and a lightning trigger.

Excellently captured.
What a photo, a "striking" photo indeed.
Typical Nikon colors, so vivid.
Take care

Flawless. Wonderful picture. The colors are fantastic. It could be a perfect cover for a Pink Floyd album.

Hello Jamie,
An amazing thunderbolt and a glorious well lit cliff with natural colors!
An excellent point of view for this perspective!
An attractive point is the huge rock that broke off the cliff.
A very clean presentation and frame.

all your gallery is full of beautiful places at great moments, and this one is in the top of the list of the spectacular photos, with this fantastic combination of colors and weathers in the sky
i just regret the lighting is so much processed (sky versus so bright littoral)

Helo Jamie, that's fascinating. You've captured the lightening in a very timely maner and the general view is impressive. It's really a summary of the four seasons as Elena has rightfully written above.
Congratulations, Tolga
