Photographer's Note

Eilean Donan castle in the Highlands of Scotland, stood majestically on this little Island from about the 13th century until is was distroyed and abandoned in 1719 during a Jacobite conflict. It then stood in ruins for 200 years until 1912 when the current castle was built.
Today it attracts just about every tourbus that comes through Scotland, and is probably one of the most photographed castles in the country.

Photo cropped and saturated (maybe too much?).
