Photographer's Note

This building in Uppsala is called Skytteanum after Johan Skytte, council of the realm and a leading politician in seventeenth century Sweden. Skytte in 1622 donated the Skyttean professorship of Eloquence and Government to the University of Uppsala. His own house in Uppsala, the originally medieval building is still used by Department of Government. The professor skytteanus has his residence in an apartment in the house The street is called Valvgatan (Arch Street) and when you come out on the other side you are very close to the cathedral of Uppsala.
