Barcelona view V
The Park Güell (Catalan: Parc Güell [ˈpaɾɡ ˈɡweʎ]; Spanish: Parque Güell) is a public park system composed of gardens and architectonic elements located on Carmel Hill, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Carmel Hill belongs to the mountain range of Collserola – the Parc del Carmel is located on the northern face. Park Güell is located in La Salut, a neighborhood in the Gràcia district of Barcelona. With urbanization in mind, Eusebi Güell assigned the design of the park to Antoni Gaudí, a renowned architect and the face of Catalan modernism.

The park was built from 1900 to 1914 and was officially opened as a public park in 1926. In 1984, UNESCO declared the park a World Heritage Site under "Works of Antoni Gaudí"

Hello Costantino,
It is a fantastic view of these amazing "gingerbread houses" with roofs looking like a sugar frosting. The many trees and bushes create a fine atmosphere, and so do the many persons in the courtyard. It's a pity there is so little colour in the sky, but the lower part of the photo is so much better.

Hello Constantino, an excellent high point of view as you look down on the distinctive architecture of Gaudi at Parc Guell.

Hello Costantino,
A good view of this famous part of Barcelona with some of the unmistakable architecture by Gaudi. The view over the roofs towards the sea makes a good backdrop as well.

Very nice angle and position you did get! The propertion of the castles and park is the best one. So unique and amazing castles, quite reasonable to be nomainated to UNESCO world heritage.

This is of course undeniably Gaudi. His flowing forms can be recognized from thousands. These round houses also remind me strongly of what we in the Netherlands call a pancake house or Hansel and Gretel house.

Dear Costantino,
The way you took this photo from above makes it look like a dolls'village. Very good capture of one of Gaudi's work which is so recognizable.
I also like the outlook onto the city and the sea, but I thought the washed out sky could have been cropped, so I made a WS. Hoping you like it.

Very nice photo with a good perspective, from the top of the stairs, here we see this kind of square and the two buildings on both sides of the entrance door to the enclosure.

it is certainly a must-see place in Barcelona.
I had the pleasure to be there as well. But you have seen my photo from this spot already.
You had a bit challenging light with the white sky but nevertheless the beauty of this place is clear for the viewer. The charming square near the fairy tale like houses and an amazing panorama behind.
