Photographer's Note
This is main entrance building to the Birsana monastery “Aceasta este poarta cerului” in traslation : “This is the sky’s gate” and in the background the nun’s dormitory “chiliile”can be seen.
Birsana, a small village on the Iza Valley in Maramures, has a monastery which was first mentioned in 1391. In the place of the old monastery, in 1992 the construction of a wooden church in a traditional Maramures style has begun. Now it's finished and it looks like this.

The nun's dormitory is beautifully framed by that arch. It looks like you took this early in the morning when the mist in the background had started to subside. Very nice!

Yes I like the framing also, and a very appealing scene. I think I might have been tampted to more tightly crop the gate house though. Not sure how though, since there's also a lot of interest in that.

Nicely framed under the entrance arch. The snow brings a beautiful light on the roofs. This view is, in my opinion, one of the rare cases when you can center the subject. Well seen !
