Photographer's Note

I photographed this photo in the Square of the City where we have in front the City council of Lisbon. Of the left side we have the Church of São Julião centuries XVIII - XIX, the primitive church dated of century XIII was completely destroyed for earthquake of 1755, compelling to total rebuilding that was only initiated in 1802 being concluded in 1810.
In typical trace pombalino in very similar to the Churches of the Incarnation, São Nicholas, Sacramento and Mártires. Acquired in 1934 ,it serves currently of garage.
