Photographer's Note
Another picture of Ferragudo this time showing the castle which protected the headland and estuary. I shall post a larger view of the Castle at a later date complete with its historical significance. Ferragudo lies on the opposite side of the estuary to the better known and rather prash tourist centre of Portimao. At Ferragudo the wonderful beaches are sparsely populated and clean. The town itself is a labrynth of small alleyways and squares. From the top of the town are fine views over the castle and estuary.

Hi, nice composition & great colours, shame that the boat in the foreground didn't have a little more sun on it. You couldn't control that though! cheers, Steve

Hi Vic,
The light on the frontages is very beautiful, a warm light, like caressing the houses, between the soft blue in the sea and in the sky. The boat is very very nice, and helps to fix a point centering the view. Thanks. Best wishes,
Angel.

Bonjour Vic,
Très belle composition avec cette barque au premier plan et très bon cadrage avec la symétrie opposée ciel / maisons. Il se dégage beaucoup de charme de cette photographie à la belle lumière et aux couleurs éclatantes.

Hi Vic!
What a lovely and eye-catching shot. The colours are beautiful, with the red and blue dominant. The light offers good contrasts and the diagonal composition find a nice conclusion with the church at the top. Good use of the boat in the forefront.
Nice job!
André
