Photographer's Note

This´s a place you can´t miss on your visit to Porto.

It´s located on the main aveneu of town (Avenida dos Aliados).

The "Praça da Liberdade" was the place of meeting of politicians, writers and artists. Here was proclaimed the Republic, for the first time in Portugal, 31 of January of 1891. In 1866, the City inaugurated the statue of D. Pedro IV (The liberal king).

The square is surrounded by beautiful neoclasic buildings.

Notice the shapes of the clouds. Preaty neat? hum...?
