Photographer's Note

Mesão Frio, is a village located on the right bank of the Douro River, district of Vila Real - The village dates from the third century and was for a long time one of the communication routes of the Roman empire, known as the Douro Gate, since it was there that, in 1758, the first landmarks of the Demarcated Region of Douro Wines, the oldest wine-growing region in the World, were placed - The historic center of the town with almost immaculate streets and squares that little changed, is a space which transmits the sensation of retreating in time and immerse ourselves in a historical setting, where a valuable architectural heritage stands out with majestic buildings.
