Photographer's Note

Here we are back in Lisbon, walking around the Alfama district of small alley ways, there are treasures seemingly around each corner.

Technically speaking it's not a great photo, you can see the noise and the lighting is a bit dark. But then again i'm in a small alley without direct lighting, what can you do? Also, i'm standing very close to the couple having a meal - I didn't want to get them upset, I wanted to take my photo quickly and give them their privacy :)

In case you are wondering, yes, they noticed me, made eye contact with me. Although they didn't say No to me taking a photo, they were not overly pleased either. Even though I wanted to take more shots, I just couldn't.

Obviously the mural in the bg is what caught my attention. Take it away and its just another boring scene, but the woman with blue hair was just too much to pass up.

In the WS is another photo, taken further away. It includes a nice light fixture, but I preferred this closer set up.

Hope you like it.

Adding a footnote a couple hours after posting the photo. Jean asked what was going on...I forgot to mention there is a door behind them on the left, it leads to a small hostel, so perhaps they're staying there and there are two tables set up outside the entrance. One more thing...most of you have suggested the WS photo is more pleasing...Perhaps I really did post the wrong version :)
