Photographer's Note

From high above the Atlantic Ocean on the extreme southwestern coast of Portugal is the Sagres Cabo that, before the time of Henry the Navigator, was considered the Very Edge of the Known World! However, men of vision thought otherwise and sailed from Portugal to the New World. Today this cape is desolated and windswept, but well worth visiting for the spectacular littoral views of the weathered rocks.
