The Christmas Market in Wrocław is one of the largest markets in Poland, it takes place on the main square next to the town hall, on Salt Square and on several streets in the city center. The tradition of Christmas markets comes from Germany, the first Christmas market in Wroclaw took place only in 2008, the attractions are similar to other cities: stalls in the open air, mulled wine, lots of sweets and chocolate gingerbreads for children, dried fruits, carousels and crowds of people speaking different languages.
