Photographer's Note

Exhibition hall of the Museum of Natural History, Wroclaw University.
The Museum of Natural History is the largest institution of this kind in Poland. It was founded in 1814. Only 1 percent of the collection is shown in exhibitions consisting of 4 sections: World of plants, Skeletons of vertebrates, Insects and people, World of animals.
Its collections comprise numerous unique specimens of extinct and rare species.
In my photo you can see one of the most precious exhibits in the Museums collection, a skeleton of the Giant Elk (Megaloceros giganteus), a species got extinct 10 thousand years ago. The span of antlers of this species exceeded 3 m.
