Vigeland in Detail

My last photo from Vigelandparken (Vigeland Sculpture Park) for now. It is a detailed photo of the very same gate I showed in my previous post, you will probably we able to spot which part it is, as well as the Monolith in the background. The wrought-iron gates around the Monolith Plateau, eight in total, depict Man in all ages.

Vigelandparken displays over 200 sculptures by sculptor Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943), making it the largest sculpture park in the world made by a single person. It was built between 1939 and 1949.
