Photographer's Note

City: Zwolle – Quarter: Centre – Location: Railway station

About the title: JIT stands for Just In Time and no, I won’t bore you here with theories about supply chain planning (that’s the domain where this acronym is used most), I’m just using it in a fairly abstract way. Shooting on stations is always fun, especially when you actually can grab a little story in the making.

Shot while changing trains on our way to Nijverdal for a walk across the Sallandse heuvelrug.

For the train buffs – on display is a Dutch Railways ICM double deck Intercity train. It was the last train where the Dutch Railways were responsible for the design. After that it was ‘buying of the shelf’ and thus alas adding to the growing uniformity of European train design.

I'm still bit busy but will catch up with y'all later.
Have a great Sunday & start of the week!

The PCS4 work flow: I cropped, converted to b/w (method: gradient mapping), altered, the contrast, curves and levels for the whole pic and some elements separately, using different layers, USM-ed, added a frame and resized, enhanced the edges on a 88 % transparent layer, merged the layers and did a gentle USM (0,2px, 82%) again.
