Virroriosa Waterfront

A picture from the other side of Birgu (Maltese: Il-Birgu, also now as Cittā Vittoriosa), one of the Three Cities located on the south side of the Grand Harbour across from Valletta. It shows the Vittoriosa Waterfront and the Vittoriosa Yacht Marina. Also seen, tucked away in the background are Valletta (with the Upper Barrakka Gardens and the twin towers of the St. John’s Co-Cathedral) and Fort St. Angelo. The right hand foreground features the towers of the Collegiate Church of Saint Lawrence and the single tower of the Malta Maritime Museum, housed in the former Royal Naval Bakery.
