The Narrow Streets of Mdina

As I wrote earlier, the former Maltese capital of Mdina is a very small town, still confined within its old city walls. The streets and squares are narrow and small, although that doesn’t prevent people from driving and parking their cars there, as you can see in this photo. This is a view down Triq Villegaignon with the Church of the Annunciation or The Carmelite Church at left, a rich Baroque church, completed in 1675.
