Photographer's Note

Lichtenstein is a tiny country so its capital is also very small. It is funny that the whole Liechtenstein is about 25 km long and still on TE it has a northern and southern part.
Vaduz has 5450 residents. It is an old town, it was mentioned already in 12-Century manuscripts. The most famous monument in Vaduz is Vaduz Castle, the home of the reigning prince of Liechtenstein and the Liechtenstein princely family. The castle is visible from almost any location in Vaduz, is perched atop a steep hill in the middle of the city. as the family lives there, it is closed to the public.
I was already a bit tired but the weather was good, after some hesitating, I decided to climb up the hill. I was rewarded with the nice views. The most attractive seemed to me the vineyards.
I did well. In the night it became warmer and the snow quickly disappeared. Once again - one should take advantage of the good weather.
