Castello di Fogliano – (PG)
The beautiful castle of Fogliano stands in a dominant position over the Marroggia valley, you can see from a distance the soaring bell tower of the Church of San Michele Arcangelo.
The name is presumably of a predial origin; it is located along the ancient route that connected the two diverticula of the Via Flaminia, it is testimony to the presence of the site for funerary use since Roman times, but there are no traces of the settlement of that era .
Fogliano was part of the Terre Arnolfe, presumably since the 11th century.
