Davanti al Tempio della Concordia è possibile ammirare la statua di Icaro, donata dallo scultore polacco Igor Mitoraj.
La statua rappresenta la caduta di Icaro, che disubbidendo al padre Dedalo, volò troppo vicino al sole, bruciò le sue ali di cera e precipitò nel Mediterraneo.

In front of the Temple of Concordia, you can admire the statue of Icarus, donated by the Polish sculptor Igor Mitoraj.
The statue represents the Fall of Icarus, who disobeyed his father Daedalus, he flew too close to the sun, burned his wings of wax and fell into the Mediterranean.

Bonjour, cher Maurizio,
J'aime beaucoup cette composition avec cet avant-plan et le Temple en arrière-plan.
Cette couleur sépia est très adaptée pour ce type qui marie habilement sculpture et architecture.

Quelle belle composition. D'inclure la statue sur le dos à l'avant plan est très original et aussi très beau. Le sépia fait le reste avec une texture très vintage.

this has the feeling as if its a scene taken straight out of a Hollywood movie. the fallen sculpture on the bottom is so strange, so weird, but its works well too. I like it, completely unexpected. good one :) cheers

He ain't heavy he's fallen down! Do you know he needs some cream for that dry skin! Great angle and close-up with the backdrop putting this in perspective but not so sure about the colouring you trying to achieve. It's a decent record shot of the day satisfying your objective. Well done

Good decision to use sepia and the fg statue of Icarus adds depth and layering to the composition. The Doric style of capitals on the columns is the earliest ancient Greek style so these temples at Agrigento must be very old. Tfs!
