Having searched the Coliseum in search of my version of the Roman muscle, having drunk 4l of water, having put handing by some solar cream, and having gone back up, once again, the line of salmons who dried under a blazing sun in the entry of the forums, my ticket for Coliseum + Forums in pocket, I met myself in the middle of nowhere.

Yes because it is necessary to know it, in the forums, we walk a lot and we do not know too much what we see.

There is indeed still about columns which resist to the invader, but altogether, it is rather in ruins and badly arrowed.

To avoid well on, the visit at 2:00 pm. Because Rome at least of August it is appreciably as tropics, but the beach and the alizées less.

Fortunately, there are some fountains, and shaded benches that quarrel the tourists.

If you have no time, but which you want all the same to see of what it is, do not hesitate to set Via Di Monte Tarpeo, that rises a lot, but you have an open view on ruins and even in the bottom on the Coliseum.

Still some metres and you will have access to Piazza Campidoglio, ideal place, it seems for wedding photos*!

Bonjour Karine,

Nicou

Salut Karine! I am green :)))) jalous for this wonderful picture ... Your composition is truly exciting and has something eternal for me and I guess the deep blue helps to underline this feeling. Such a great approach and I like that you left a lot of sky to make a separation between the heavy feeling of the Coluseum and the lightness of the sky. Something like that, hard to describe, but it is wonderful, it really is. Compliments to you! Barbara.

Hello Karine,

A+

Bonjour Karine,
Apart from the polarizer, cause you have used a pola filter I presume!, what have you done to obtain such a wonderful sky colour?. Your POV is good, and the sky wonderful, but why didn't you get the whole colosseo?
Funny note, hope you don't hate Rome for that!
Regards

Felip
