Photographer’s Note
The Pantheon is the largest masonary dome in the world. The distance from the floor to its top is equal to its diameter. The structure contains the tombs of Rafael and other Italian kings. The word Pantheon is a greek word for "to honor all Gods". What is seen is a restoration from about 118-125AD.
The feel from the inside is warm - the light envelopes you and the color of the marble is also clean and warm. There are statues and paintings in all directions. I am standing just near the entrance and the beam from above, from this angle is the strongest. Less impressive outside - a surprise of beauty within.
