Photographer’s Note
Close up of the clock on the tower of San Paolo Basilica, one of the 5 or so best known Basilicas in this city of hundreds. The Workshop shows the context of this clock.
Note from Wikipedia.
The Papal Basilica of St Paul Outside the Walls or St Paul-without-the-Walls (Italian: Basilica Papale di San Paolo fuori le Mura) is one of four churches considered to be the great ancient basilicas of Rome. As well as St Paul's, the Roman Catholic Church counts among the four papal basilicas or major basilicas of Romethe basilicas of St. John Lateran, St. Mary Major, and St. Peter's. Archbishop Francesco Monterisi, named in 2009, is the current archpriest of this basilica.

Hello Murray,
A nice close up of the clock on the tower of San Paulo Basilica.
I like the Roman characters, splendid contrast through the black letters on a clear background.
Good composition and lovely presentation. TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Hi Murray,
The brick or marble wall is framing well the clock. The point of view is allowing us to distinguish the details and colors of the clock. It is clear and precise. The light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.
Pierre
