Une vue sur le moulage d'un corps qui a été trouvé dans les cendres des ruines de Pompéi. La photo a été prise lors d'un tour organisé d'une journée vers Naples et Pompéi.

Hello Pierre,
These casts of corpses from Pompei are very touching to watch. Basically we see a real person who died in 79AD. He seems to be asleep. The photo is well exposed and also shows us a lot of other interesting items found during excavation.

hello Pierre, Such view of the petrified corpse in Pompei is the most impressive. Probably this man was sleeping when the disaster came and still sleeps more than 2000 years. Excellent composition, good light and sharpness.

Pierre, i wonder why the corpse was not decomposed. Maybe the ashes help to preserve it during centuries. The cast serves as a reconstitution of what was found in the ruins. Beautiful ancient amphoras are exhibited around it.
