The Skelligs and The Atlantic

Another photo taken near the Kerry Cliffs, one of the westernmost points in Ireland. The photo was taken from one of the lookouts at the top of the cliffs, which offers a beautiful view of the coastline, Puffin Island, the two Skellig Islands in the distance, and the Atlantic Ocean (if you decided to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a straight line from here, you would end up around the northernmost tip of Newfoundland, Canada). The Skellig Islands, Skellig Michael and Little Skellig, are two small, rocky islands, 13 km west of the Iveragh Peninsula. Skellig Michael is known for its UNESCO listed early Christian monastery.
