Photographer's Note

Hi Folks,

Today I want to share with you one of my 'sunrise' shots. Last Saturday I've gone with Mariusz (mkamionka) to do few shots in Howth, co. Dublin. Photo-trips with people who have the same hobby have many advantages. First - safety reasons, remeber most of the interesting spots are located on or under high cliffs, so sometimes it really is quite an effort to take good shot. Second - you can alwatys learn from
your colleague - different technique, point of view, so as I said many advantages.

I took the photo I've uploaded today on a very small beach close to Baily Lighthouse, which you can see in my gallery. Just for the record the beach is called Whitewater Brook. Howth as such is a very picturesque place and indeed an interesting area for people who enjoy photography. I've said this many times so far that I would highly recomment this area to anybody visiting Dublin.

Howth Head is a headland north east of Dublin City, holding the districts of Sutton, at the entry to the headland and on part of the southern side, and Howth proper, which occupies the rest, with the village and harbour on the northern side. Most of the headland is hilly, with peaks such as the 171m Black Linn, by the Ben of Howth, Shielmartin Hill (163m), Dun Hill, and Muck Rock (Carrickmore), and craggy areas such as Carrickbrack and Kilrock, and there are steep cliffs around parts.

Enjoy!
