Photographer's Note
inch beach is a 5km long dune-covered sandy spit situated in dingle bay in county kerry. it is one of the largest dune fields in ireland.
it is a beautiful location: standing on the dunes looking west over the beach is dingle bay and beyond that the atlantic ocean, to the east are the quiet lagoons and mud-flats behind the beach in cromane bay, to the south is the famed 'ring of kerry' and the macgillycuddy's reeks mountain range (seen here on the horizon), and to the north are the mountains of the dingle penninsula.
i think it would be possible to spend one's entire life photographing the landscape here and never be bored of seeing the same sights as the light changes with every passing cloud.

So simple and so lovely! Very good sharpness and beautiful colors. Sea on the right and small road make this image more detailed and therefore more interesting.
Very original composition.
Have a nice Sunday!

Good Morning Brian,
The passion from your notes is reflected in the shot and the title. The wildness of the grasses and dunes is enticing, with its sharply defined humps and hollows, and what a view beyond! The clouds rush us to the very pinnacle of the distant hills.
A place for poets!
Have a lovely Sunday,
Bev :-)

Hello Brian - This shot looks simple but you have paid great attention to detail and composition. The long, bent grasses lead in so beautifully from the LLHC inviting the viewer to walk along the track across the dunes. The textural details are well defined and hold their own against the depth of sky. One gets a superb idea of the wild nature of the coastline. I can imagine that this would work well in B&W too, it could be quite a dramatic image with the textures and fabulous sky. Nice job! Warm regards Rosemary

Hi Brian,
Really great image, and the note adds so much to it. I didnt know this was on of the largest dune fields here, and it makes an awesome sight. The sky is perfect too, and I can eaily visualize how the landscape would change the way you say, as those clouds roll by. Class shot, cheers

Hi Brian,
You're capturing well this landscape by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the wide dune field covered green grass and the adjoining seashore at right side. Here seems to so calm place. And, the ridgeline of the mountain which is back visible draws out a good atmosphere in this image as well as the thick clouds in blue sky.
Kind regards,
mikio

Hi Brian
not that i'm disagreeing with your choice of title, but I would have called this one "infinity" :)
it just seems as if the world continues on and on and on.
where is the end?
and i think the clouds add that extra level of interest too, seemingly pushing down on the landscape. really cool.

Hi Brian
I reckon you're right. No matter how many times you'd visit a place like this you'd find something different and also see how the light changes the landscape. Excellent use of the filter here, you;ve evened out the light superbly. The textures of the dunes and grass are lovely and the depth is so good, we still have all the magnificent details of the sea and moountains beyond. Nice work.
Thanks for sharing

Hello Brian ,
It seems so simple , but this is a great picture . For the amazing sky contrasting with the golden grass of the dunes , and just a little part of beach and mountain to give an opening to the landscape .
Great .
