Sunset over Dublin

This will be my last photo from Ireland for now. It was taken at the end of our day in Dublin. This is Christ Church Cathedral or The Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. It was founded around 1030, which makes it the oldest cathedral in the city, older than that other medieval cathedral, St Patrick’s Cathedral. Both the Anglican Church of Ireland and the Roman Catholic Church in Ireland claim the cathedral as their seat, but officially it has been the cathedral of the Church of Ireland’s Archbishop of Dublin since the English Reformation.
