Photographer's Note

Blöndulón lake on the Kjölur highland road. Shot taken horizontally to avoid lens distortions on the horizon line; I cropped some of the foreground to result in a panorama composition. I was lucky to have a ray sunlight in the foreground. Enjoy!

Lac de barage Blöndulón sur la route de Kjölur traversant les hauts plateaux désertiques. Photo prise à l'horizontale pour éviter de déformer la ligne d'horizon avec le grand-angle. Recadrage en enlevant une portion du premier plan pour obtenir un panoramique. J'ai eu la chance d'avoir un rayon de soleil donner un peu de corps au premier plan. J'espère que vous apprécierez!

une lumiere islandaise magnifique avec un ciel qui ne l'est pas moins...
j'ai le souvenir d'un lac où le smoustiques etaient tres virulents....

There is a good wide angle feeling looking at the clouds on this image, it's very dynamie, maybe you've been strong on the blues
