Photographer's Note

As I showed in the WS of my previous photo, the route is very scenic to Peter's Thunder-stone. This is the old shelter-house at Istvánkút (~Stephen's Well), it seemed to be totally abandoned. In the WS you can see the fire-place of the newer shelter house and the remaining of the oldest one.

The song describes pretty accurate what to expect. :)

Hello György,
This looks like it used to be a quite cosy building, and from here it looks like it's still in a reasonable shape, so it's strange that it has been abandoned. That seems like a waste of resources. But with the fire-place and seating still in place this should still be a fine place for a rest and a meal. The light and colours were in any case good reasons for a long walk. The WS confirm this impression. I go for city walks or just to the gym nowadays for exercise instead of the trouble of getting out of the city.

I appreciate the fact you took this photo on an angle, that's often the best. did I hear the word Abandoned? haha
It certainly doesn't look like it, from this outside view it appears to be in excellent shape...i wonder what's its story.
Its a pretty Autumn scene, and with the classic autumn colours, yet its not overblown which is good too. cheers

This is a lovely hide-away in the woods but what a great find of this quaint log cabin, sadly abandoned with magic of autumn colours. Great looking composition with effective foreground detail. Well done

This old cottage fits perfectly on this environment. You have perfect angle for showing that fireplace and all the colours of autumn. I like how those branches frame the view from the top.
