The bell tower of Calvinist Church in Nyírbátor and its surroundings under reconstruction.
It is typical for the churches of Szabolcs that their walls and their towers are too weak to hold a bell, thus the bell is located in a separate (typically wooden) tower. If you take a look at my earlier pictures portraying the church of Tákos you will see that there too, the bell tower is a separate building.
In the WS you can see the Roman Catholic Church of Nyírbátor.
