Photographer's Note

sea and port X
The village Agria is located on the northeast coast of the Pagasitikos Gulf, very close to Volos (only 8km). To be more precise it does not constitute a village, but a city, given that its residents are about 10,000. In the past, Agria used to be the port of Drakeia and Agios Lavrentios, where the production of oil and olives of the area was taken on cargo.

During the Turkish occupation, and due to the increase of production, significant works of infrastructure were made in the area, among which storerooms for goods, a jetty, a customs house, and therefore over the years Agria flourished significantly
