Photographer's Note

I was in Athens some 6-7 years ago. So what were the differences I noticed this time ? Everybody knows that Greece undergoes a deep economic crisis, there are strikes and street movements. But there are a lot of tourists, and restaurants are full, full every day. But I also noticed that the fashion was in painting almost everything , walls, shops even antique stones. with grafittis.. I also noticed that there were many african immigrants, who were daily chased by the Athenian Police and who managed to display their wares, (mostly bags and purses or toys,) particularly near the popular Monastiraski quarter.
So they must hate photographers who try to aim cameras , because they don't know why we are trying to take pictures,is the police, the municipality, or the press. The least they would believe is that people like me take pictures uniquely for the sake of photography.
That evening I had my small Canon G10. hence some noise.. Does it really spoil the picture ?
