Photographer's Note

A young muslim girl, waiting for her friends to come out of Eski Camii (means "Old Mosque" in turkish), after the end of noon prayer. Eski Camii is one of the two largest mosques in Komotini. The other one is Yeni Camii (means "New Mosque") which you can see in 2 of my previous posts, HERE (INTERIOR) and HERE (EXTERIOR).

About 1/3 of the population (some say 1/2) of Komotini and Rodopi Prefecture, belong to the so called "Muslim Minority".
