Photographer's Note

This cape is located on the south west part of the island and it is also a location for nice lighthouse. The cliffs are magnificent and almost any time of the day it looks just fabulous. To get to the cape, which is down south of the island, one needs to negotiate about 15 km unpaved road. It can be tricky but for me it was worthy all the effort. Apart from being exeptionally beautiful this place also has a romantic story - legend has it that from one of the most famous ancient Greek poet - Safona - jumped off the cliff. The reason, as you probably guess, was tragic love.

As an addition I would like to explain the color of water. Believe it or not it has not been photoshoped - since I do not have this program yet. My friend who is a sailor told me that if it is particularly windy water tends to get bright turquoise shade - it is apparently because it carries more air inside.
