Photographer's Note

While visiting the ruins of old Athens, my wife suddenly said.. Look at this old church in the dark, up on the hill ! .. The church was a bit hidden in the counterlight of the morning and offered little contrast against the background. I imagine it would be pretty hard to get a decent shot with a slide film.
But now with my D300 digital which gave me 250mm, I decided to try and see the result, I added some sunlit leaves in the foreground, and I was happy that the church came out rather good... A nicely restored little Byzantine Church called "Holy Apostles"
